The day after I received my NAS and HDDs, I got my hands on the monolights I was talking about at the end of the posts lately.

As you can see, the flash is pretty well packed with its custom-made styrofoam protection. The unit comes with a very long power cord, a PC sync cable, a basic 8" reflector (which is always nice), the actual flash tube as well as a plastic flash tube protector and a not-so-well-made transport bag. Overall, I'm pretty satisfied with the purchase. It's, to my little positive surprise, made of a thick metal housing and the recycle times are quick enough. What I don't much like is the fact that the mount for light modifier is a bit wobbly and the knob to attach the monolight to a light stand is produce in plastic and seems cheap, but that's knit picking. And that's it!

Cheers,

Tristan
