Photoshop, when you first open it, can be quite impressive. There are a lot of buttons and graphical user interface elements at the same time.

What's more is that the default screen isn't even complete. There are a lot of other panels that you can open up to give you even more functionality.

One panel that most people aren't using to its fullest is the Tool Presets panel. It’s a bit like the Actions panel but you can save the settings for a particular tool and have it exactly set like that you when click on the preset’s button. It allows you to save tool profiles for later use and that is very powerful in order to speed up your workflow.
